A LaFayette man was arrested Thursday on warrants charging him with using a fraudulent check for a purchase at a motorcycle shop in Coosa.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Samuel Adam Kimbrough, 20, of 18 Enlo St. in LaFayette, was arrested by Floyd County deputies around 11:30 a.m. He was charged with one felony count of deposit account fraud.
Warrants stated that in March, Kimbrough delivered a check on a Regions Bank account for a $4,495.65 purchase at Kawasaki of Rome on Alabama Highway, knowing that the check would not be honored.
He was released from jail on $1,350 bail.
