The organizers of the Northwest Georgia Balloon Festival are informing Chattooga County residents that they may have a big ballon land on their property during the Balloon Festival that is to be held May 15, 16 and 17 in Menlo.

If one of the balloons flying over Chattooga County should land on your property, the pilot will have a card for you to fill out.  You just complete it and give it back to the pilot.  A drawing willbe held Sunday night at the close of the Festival.  The winner of the drawing will receive a check for $200.00 from the Festival.

All you have to do is fill out the card and be lucky enough to win the drawing.  Organizers say "look for those balloons and hope they land at your house…..a little extra spending money would be nice."
