Drivers in Chattooga County are used to seeing political signs all over, but someone has defaced a large political sign in Trion.  A large billboard type sign at the old Dixie Gas station next to Stancells Furniture in Trion had been vandalized.  The vandals defaced the sign, putting a mustache and beard on the picture of the candidate and drawing a vulgar picture on the sign.

Democratic candidate for state senate, Bruce Coker told AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio yesterday that he suspects that the vandalism was probably done by kids and that he expects those kinds of things to happen.  Coker filed a report with the Chattooga County Sheriff’s department yesterday.  Coker said the sign cost him over $300
