If you wish to vote in the General Election on November 6 and you are not registered to vote you have until tomorrow to do so.  To register to vote you will need to bring a valid drivers license and proof of residency to the Registrar Office located next to the Courthouse in Summerville.  

According to the Georgia Secretary of State to register to vote on November 6 you must:

 

Be a citizen of the United States

 

Be a legal resident of the county

Be at least 171/2 years of age to register and 18 years of age to vote

Not be serving a sentence for conviction of a felony involving moral turpitude

Have not been found mentally incompetent by a judge.
