AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio reported last week that there were several wrecks on Silver Hill Road on Friday afternoon during the bad weather.  The Georgia State Patrol Post in Rome has released their weekly report of accidents with injuries and one of those wrecks was from last Friday’s winter weather. Seventeen year old Robert William Ramey, Jr. of a Silver Hill Road address was traveling west on Silver Hill Road when he lost control of his 2006 Ford Mustang and left the snow covered road and went off the south side of the road and struck a tree.  A 16 year old female passenger was in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Chattooga County EMS reportedly took one injured person to Floyd Medical Center by ambulance.
