Fire crews were called out several times over the past 24 hours.  According to reports, a resident on Northwest Congress Street in Summerville reported that sparks flew out of the outlet where his air conditioner was plugged in.  Also fire crews responded to a barn fire on Brooks Road and a outbuilding that was on fire on Bryant Road.
