Local fire departments were called out to several different situtations over the past twenty four hours including a small fire in the woods in the Gore area.  According to reports the fire was a small one in the woods and was put out rather quickly, the Gore Fire Department responded to the call.

The Summerville Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Sunday near Berryton.  Details of the fire are not known at this time.  Also the Summerville Fire Department responded to a fire late Sunday night on Echols Road.  According to intial reports the fire was in the attic of a residence.
