Local fire departments were called out to a couple of outdoor fires over the past twenty four hours.  One fire was reported near Four Mile Baptist Church off of Highway 100 in Summerville.  Fire units were dispatched to a grass fire in the area.  Another fire was reported off Cooper Road in Menlo.  According to reports the fire was in a wooded area. Residents are reminded that Chattooga County and most of North Georgia remains under a burn ban that went into affect May 1^st and will continue until September 1^st.
