Chattooga County Commissioner Mike Dawson has announced that the bids for ongoing water projects have come in and to the Commisioner’s surprise the bids were quite a bit lower than expected. Dawson had counted on the bid for the proposed water projects to be around $5 Million. Instead the bids are around $3.6 Million. The lower bid was submitted by K.M. Davis Contracting Company and means that the county will be able to provide water service to around 117 more customers than originally expected.
