The Town of Lyerly will be presenting “Down Home Day” today at Angus McCleod Park in Lyerly from 11 AM until 6 PM.  The town has announced new parking arrangements for this year’s event.

Parking for Down Home Day will be in the new parking lot located at the corner of Highway 114 and Hammond St in Lyerly, GA. There will be a free shuttle available for those who need it from the new parking lot to the entrance of Angus McLeod Park.

There are a variety of activities offered at today’s event including, free inflatables for the kids, hayrides and a cake walk.  Also, two favorites at the Lyerly Down Home Day event will return again this year – the Skillet Toss and Cow Patty Bingo.
