The Town of Lyerly will hold its annual Down Home Day on Saturday, September 24 from 9am to 2pm at Angus McLeod Park in Lyerly. This year marks Lyerly’s 120th anniversary! Festivities include:

Multiple food, craft and homemade vendors
Barbecue Cookoff (prize will be awarded for best BBQ)
Skillet Toss
Cow Patty Bingo (sponsored by Lyerly PTO)
Cake Walk
Bike raffles
Plenty of door prizes
Free entertainment, with Delta Soul returning again this year!

New for this year: Pedal Parade! Kids 12 and under can enter to parade around the track. Anything can be driven, so long as it is powered by pedals.

There will be a $100 cash raffle to benefit the Lyerly Recreation Dept. Tickets are on sale now- $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. The cash award will be given away during the Down Home Day celebration
