The fire at an abandonded structure in Lyerly earlier this week is currently under investigation.  AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio has reported on at least 5 other abandonded structure fires in the Lyerly area in the past several months.  Investigators are looking into these suspicious fires.  The fires have included abandoned houses, barns and trailers.  These structures have had no power which causes investigators to suspect arson.  AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio News will have more as it becomes available.
