The Town of Lyerly is looking to cut some trees that need to come down at the town’s park.  The council asked for bids for the job and out of nine companies contacted, only one actually submitted a bid.

Mayor Josh Wyatt told council members on Tuesday evening that B&T Tree Service submitted a bid of $5,500 to cut 54 trees and grind 42 stumps at the city owned park.  The council has talked with County Commissioner Jason Winters about having prison crews remove the brush from the trees.

The council awarded the bid to B&T Tree Service on Tuesday evening at the regular monthly town council meeting.
