On Friday AM 1180 reported incorrectly that the Town of Lyerly had table plans for a laundromat to be built.  In fact the town council did approve the request from Lyerly business owner Tony Patell.  There was discussion about the amount of sewage that the laundromat would generate and what it would do to the town’s public sewage system, but in the end the move was approved.

Mr. Patell brought plans to the Lyerly Town Council as requested for a new laundromat that will feature 8 washers and 12 dryers.  The council approved the idea with one council member abstaining from the vote.

The Town of Lyerly is going to investigate a commercial rate for sewage for the new laundromat.
