The Lyerly City Council will be meeting tonight in their regular monthly work session.  There will also be a public hearing held at the Lyerly Town Hall during the work session for the purpose of the liquor license application by Tony Pattell of TJ’s Package Store.  Mr. Pattell is the only person who has applied for a liquor license under the new liquor ordinance approved by voters last fall in Lyerly.

Also on the agenda for tonight’s meeting, the council will be discussing the appointment of a council member.  Former council member Connie Short resigned last year creating a vacancy on the Lyerly Town Council.

The meeting will be held at 7 PM this evening at the Lyerly Town Hall.
