Most governmental offices around Chattooga County were closed yesterday for the Fourth of July celebration, however one municipal office will remain closed today.  Lyerly Town Clerk Joy Hampton told AM 1180 that the town’s office would be closed today for employee training and will re-open tomorrow, Wednesday July 7th.
