A business is looking at a new location in Lyerly. On Tuesday of this week the Lyerly Town Council heard a request for a zero lot line setback. When one boundary wall of a structure is built right on the property line, it is said to have a zero lot line. Zero lot line setbacks are used for a more efficient use of available space. The ordinance allows for commercial sites to hold a zero setback to keep a dense downtown district. Plans for the retail establishment were distributed to council members.
