THE DADE COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT NOW HAS CUSTODY OF A MAN WHO ALLEGEDLY CALLED TO THREATENED THE LIVES OF SHERIFF’S OFFICE EMPLOYEES. 

EIGHT DIFFERENT CALLS WERE MADE, THREATENING TO SHOOT AND KILL SHERIFF PATRICK CANNON AND HIS EMPLOYEES, UNLESS CERTAIN INMATES WERE RELEASED.  THE GBI INVESTIGATED… AND TRACED THE CALLS TO 60 YEAR OLD HENRY DONALD JONES IN AUGUSTA, GEORGIA.  JONES IS A FORMER DADE COUNTY RESIDENT. 

HE WAS ARRESTED AND TRANSPORTED TO THE DADE COUNTY JAIL… NO BOND HAS BEEN SET.  CHARGES INCLUDE DOMESTIC TERRORISM AND TERRORISTIC THREATS.
