A Rome man remains in jail without bond on terroristic threat and act charges, reports stated.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Gene Calvin Jones, 64, of 310 W. Peel Road, was arrested on a warrant Monday and charged with felony terroristic threats and acts.
Jones reportedly threatened to kill family members, burn down three houses and flatten their tires at a residence in the 200 block of West Peel Road Tuesday.
The victims told police Jones had been making the threats for the past week.
