Authorities in DeKalb County, Alabama are investigating what appears to be an accidental death.  According to DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris, a man reportedly fell off a ladder in his garage and died. The man has been identified as Franklin David McCloud of an Ider, Alabama address.  McCloud was in his shop working on a light when he somehow fell off the ladder.  When emergency workers responded to the accident they attempted CPR, however they were not able to revive the man. While the incident remains under investigation, there is no foul play suspected.
