The Georgia State Patrol released a report on an accident that happened last Friday on Back Berryton Road. A Summerville man has been cited in connection with the accident.
According to the GSP, 26 year old Brandon Lane Brown of Ellenburg Subdivision exited Back Berryton Road into a private drive. He struck a Murray Riding Lawn Mower that belonged to Kim Rutledge and then traveled over a rock wall that belonged to Randy Raglin, striking the wall with the undercarriage of the 2003 Ford Explorer he was driving.
The report stated that Brown told Troopers he didn’t know what happened and he must have fell asleep with the Explorer out of gear. Brown was charged with DUI by the Georgia State Patrol.
