67 year old Robert E. Pierce of a Floyd Springs Rd. address in northern Floyd County was arrested by deputies Tuesday and charged with making terroristic threats after Pierce allegedly threatened to kill the District Attorney and a Judge.  The warrant for Pierce’s arrest claimed that he made the threats to a confidential informant this past weekend.    Pierce had allegedly claimed he was going to sneak a gun into the courthouse to carry out his plot.  Pierce is a defendant in a methamphetamine case involving multiple defendants and a couple of meth labs, one in the Glenwood area, the other on Callier Springs Rd.   His case is supposed to be heard by Judge Bryant Durham, though the warrant did not specify what Judge Pierce was targeting.
