Cherokee County authorities resumed their search on Thursday for a subject who fled on foot from them early Wednesday.

Law Enforcement conducted a manhunt in the Antioch area – in the vicinity of Curly`s Cove off of County Road 44 in Cedar Bluff – late Wednesday morning, throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

Authorities are searching for David Stoner, described as a white male approximately five feet six and weighing around 150 pounds, with short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt with blue jeans.

 A female companion was taken into custody, shortly after she attempted to flee the scene that morning.

Stoner is reportedly wanted in Tennessee, Georgia, and in Alabama on charges relating to the Burglary of homes and automobiles.

Stoner is considered to be desperate and dangerous.
