Three large marijuana plants near John’s Mountain Wildlife Management Area (WMA) were seized by the Georgia Governor’s Drug Task Force and Gordon County sheriff’s deputies on Thursday, July 15.
According to Sheriff Mitch Ralston, "the plants were discovered by officers conducting an aerial search."
The plants averaged approximately 9 feet in height, and had a ‘street; value of approximately $150,000.00, according to the report.
No one was discovered with the plants and no arrests were made.
