As Independence day approaches AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio wants to remind you of the celebrations planned around the county.

Next Saturday will be the annual Menlo Glory Days sponsored by the Menlo Lions Club.  Activities get underway at 11 AM with a parade and their will be barbeque plates available for only $7 each.  AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio will be broadcasting live from Menlo this Saturday. 

Then coming up July 4th celebrate Independence Day in Summerville as the City of Summerville Celebrates Independence.  There will be free water slides for the kids along with Jumping Inflatables and FREE WATERMELON! At 6 P.M. Buck and Duke will be performing and at 7:15 there will be a War Between the States Cannon Demonstration then at dark their will be a spectacular fireworks display.  AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio will be broadcasting live beginning at 5 P.M.
