A lot of rain fell over the past 48 hours in Northwest Georgia which prompted the National Weather Service to issue a Flood Warning for the Chattooga River in Chattooga County on Sunday evening.  There was minor flooding reported in different parts of the county, with some water over roads and standing water being reported.  The Chattooga River has started to fall and at 4:15 AM, Monday morning the river’s stage was at 11.84 feet, well below the flood stage of 14 feet.
