Breanna Woodside, the 2 year old subject of Amber Alerts in three states, has been found unharmed, in Mexico.

According to Ft Payne Police Commissioner Ron Ogletree, FBI Agents arrested the girl’s father, 30 year old Thomas Miles Woodside, near Monterrey, Mexico at around 5:00, on Tuesday afternoon.

He had failed to return Breanna to her mother in Kentucky, following a non-custodial visit last Friday.

Police in Kentucky issued an Amber Alert later that same day, while an alert was issued in the state of Alabama on Monday at approximately 2:15pm, after Breanna was seen on surveillance video taken at the Ft Payne McDonald’s Friday evening.

Commissioner Ogletree said Chattanooga, Tennessee Officers discovered Woodside’s car parked at an America’s Best Value Inn early Tuesday morning, where the infant car seat had been removed from the vehicle, with the keys left in the ignition – at that point, an Amber Alert was also issued in Tennessee.

Tennessee Police confirmed that Woodside and Breanna had taken a taxi to a bus station on Saturday, with Woodside apparently telling the taxi driver that the two were going to Colorado – the car seat was left behind in the taxi. It appears from there that they had, in fact, traveled to Texas and then to Mexico.

Commissioner Ogletree said Woodside’s charges, and additional information on the case, would likely be released sometime Wednesday.
