A Missouri man was arrested and charged with felony theft after police said he took money from a victim in Rome and failed to complete the services he had promised.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
James Edward Blocker, 49, of Springfield, Mo., was arrested on warrants by Floyd County Sheriff’s deputies. He was charged with felony theft by conversion.
Warrants stated that in 2007, Blocker took $550 from a victim on Rogers Road and kept the money for himself instead of using them to purchase materials for a promised remodeling of the property.
