Several companies, including Lee, Wrangler and Carhartt, have increased their orders with Mt. Vernon Mills in Trion.  According to reports, Vice President for Manufacturing at Mt. Vernon, Don Henderson, says that the high cost of transportation from China along with the long lenght of time for shipments to get to the United States from over-seas manufacturers is having a positive impact on orders from the denim plant.
