A line of rain moved across Chattooga County on Sunday evening bringing some much needed rain to the area.  Some of the storms were quite strong with high winds, lightning and rain.  AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio spoke with both Chattooga County 911 and the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department this morning and there was no major damage reported.

The forecast for today is calling for rain and a few thunderstorms during the morning and will give way to partly cloudy skies this afternoon. High 87F.
