In the campaign for the 53rd Senate District in Georgia, Republican Incumbant Jeff Mullis leads the money race. 

Mullis has collected over $36,000 in his campaign war chest compared to just a little over $5,000 contributed to his challenger Democrat Bruce Coker.  Over 80% of Senator Mullis’s money has come from out of district contributors, while 100% of the money coming into Coker’s Campaign has come from within the district.

The 53rd Senate District is comprised of all of Chattooga, Walker and Dade and part of Catoosa Counties.  To see the list of contributors to either campaign you can log onto www.ethics.ga.gov
