ATLANTA– Today, Sen. Jeff Mullis (R- Chickamauga) issued the following statement commending Georgia’s firefighters in honor of Firefighter Recognition Day at the State Capitol.
“Today we are privileged to host Firefighter’s Recognition Day at the Georgia State Capitol in order to thank the men and women in uniform who protect and guard the safety of all Georgians. It is an honor to pay our respect to these firefighters who put their lives on the line everyday to ensure our safety. As former Fire Chief of Chickamauga, Georgia, I understand the sacrifices these brave men and women make for this state and all across the country. I salute these courageous firefighters and thank them for all they do for the great state of Georgia.”
