John Hayes, the President of the Chattooga County Ministerial Association says that today is an opportunity for believers of all denominations to come together and pray for the needs our county, our state and our nation.  Hayes and others who are organizing the National Day of Prayer in Chattooga County were guests on AM 1180’s Newsmakers Interview Program on Wednesday.

Today there will be an event held at 12 Noon at the Chattooga County Courthouse.  The informal event will allow people to gather and pray at the Courthouse.  Then this evening there will be a county-wide service held at the CHS Football Stadium.  The county-wide observance of the National Day of Prayer will be held at 6 PM.
