This is National Farm City Week, a time for people to reflect and be thankful for the people that produce our nation’s food supply.

Did you know the average grocery store stocks over 30,000 different items?  A well coordinated network of farmers, ranchers, processors, truck drivers and retailers are responsible for making sure we have such an abundant food supply.

Right here in Chattooga County we have many people who’s jobs make sure that we have a safe and plentiful food supply.  During this time of Thanksgiving be sure to be thankful for our nation’s food producers and if you have the opportunity, thank a farmer!
