Brian Waggoner the new head football coach for the Chattooga Indians told The Summerville News this week that he is originally from Georgia and that he looks forward to coaching in Georgia. Waggoner comes to Chattooga County from Pike County, Alabama where he has served as head coach since June of this year. Previously Waggoner served as head coach in Luverne, Alabama.
Waggoner will be filling the position left open after Coach John Starr was let go from the head coaching position at Chattooga High School earlier this year. Waggoner told The Summerville News " I didn’t know it would take five years, but my goal was to come back to Georgia to be a head football coach."
