The Chattooga County Board of Education met in their regular monthly meeting last night at the education center at the Old Pennville School.  The board voted to approve Jimmy Lenderman as Chattooga High School Prinicipal.

Lenderman will be taking over from Morgan Nugent who is leaving Chattooga High School at the end of the school year.  Dr. Pullen offered newly hired CHS principal Jim Lenderman an opportunity to speak. Lenderman thanked the Board for giving him the opportunity to serve CHS in this capacity and said that "CHS will be a school where students are valued, educated, challenged and where there is a goal and a vision for success."

AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio will have more from last night’s board meeting in upcoming newscasts and on the web at www.chattoogainfo.com
