Nadia S. Meyer, M.D., has joined Floyd Behavioral Health Center as a psychiatrist.

Dr. Meyer earned her Doctorate of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Dominca, West Indies. She completed her fellowship in addiction psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. She completed her internal medicine and psychiatry residency with the University of Virginia, School of Medicine Roanoke-Salem residency program.

In addition, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Bridgeport, Conn.

Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Meyer is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Association for Medical Education and Research in Substance Abuse. She has been practicing psychiatry since 2008.
