The Trion Board of Education has named a new principal for Trion High School, Charles E. Taylor.  Chuck Taylor came out of an early retirement to take the position at the high school.  Taylor earned his degree at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga in Physical Education and a degree in Administration at Jacksonville State University.  Taylor has been married for 38 years to Kathy Bowman Taylor and the couple has two children and four grandchildren.  He is a deacon at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in Buchanan.  The couple plans a move to Trion in the near future.
