Next week AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio will have two NEWSMAKERS Interview programs. The first will be on Wednesday, February 3rd at 8:15 AM with Lyerly Mayor Jessica Eller. Mayor Eller will be talking about the upcoming Severe Weather Awareness Day that will be held next Saturday, February 6th in Lyerly. A featured speaker from the National Weather Service will be on hand for the days events and AM 1180 will be broadcasting live from Lyerly from 11 AM until 1 PM.

 

Also on Friday, February 5th, David Tidmore from the Chattooga County Chamber of Commerce will be in the AM 1180 studios to talk about the Chamber’s upcoming annual meeting. Former Georgia Governor Roy Barnes will be the featured speaker for the event. Barnes is currently seeking the Democratic nomination for Governor of Georgia in the 2010 race.

 

Later in the month, featured guests on the NEWSMAKERS Interview program will be Fredda McCrickard from “The Well” in Summerville, and then County Extension Agent Rebecca Thomas.
