Once again this year Chattooga County will hold a free garbage dumping day at the Transfer Station.  The date for the free garbage dumping day has been set for Saturday October 18th from 7:30 AM till 4 PM.  County residents are encouraged to bring items to the transfer station and help keep Chattooga County clean.

The one day free dumping is held to help Chattooga County residents by saving them money for a service they would normally have to pay for.
