Chattooga County residents that have electrical service with North Georgia EMC may see a decrease in their power bill – just a small break. The Tennessee Valley Authority has announced a 3.5% decrease in their fuel cost. That will translate into a $2.50 – $4.50 decrease in household power bills. Part of the reason for the decrease is that there has been plenty of rain this winter which means more hydro-electricity is being generated.
