The Trion Town Council held their regular meeting Thursday night. Connie Witt informed the Council that the lease on the Hometown Medical Building would be up at the end of the year and that she would like for Harbin Clinic to take up the lease on this building. The Council voted to move the November and December meeting dates one week forward due to holiday conflicts. The Council also voted to allow M&K Dawson to cut timber and clear land at the Industrial Park. This would provide a profit of $15,862 to the town of Trion. The decision to appoint a new member to the Handicap Committee was tabled along with the decision to have an engineering study done to the Industrial park.
