A thirty year old mother of three lost her life in a tragic work-related accident earlier this week at Temple-Inland in Floyd County.

Officials with Temple-Inland stated that 30 year old Lakeya Stallings of Rome was killed at the plan’ts planer mill on Tuesday evening.  An internal investigation into the incident was started after the accident and officials contacted the Occupational Safety and Health Administration which is standard procedure.

OSHA officials were at the plant on Thursday looking into the incident and their investigation continues.
