The owners of the club in Rome that hosted a Girls Gone Wild event last weekend are being called before the city’s Alcohol Control Commission at their November meeting.
One of the city’s ACC board members was visibly annoyed with the club hosting the event after the commission told them they could not do it. Julia Dent told the Rome News Tribune " we told them they couldn’t do it, and they did it."
Brent McCrobie and his attorney David Guldenschuh are contesting the city’s claim that a special permit was required for the promotional event.
Another club in Rome, The Peach Palace was cited by the board yesterday as well. That club is said to have broadcasted sexually explicit music on an external loud speaker that could be heard by people walking down by Broad Street.
