TATE SAID HE HAD TOLD THE FORMER POLICE CHIEF THAT THE STICKERS WERE INAPPROPRIATE – BUT THAT PARKER WAS NEVER TOLD TO REMOVE THEM.
ANOTHER CO-WORKER TOLD OF PARKER DISPLAYING A BULLET REMOVED FROM A MAN HE HAD KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY.

PROSECUTOR LEIGH PATTERSON TOLD THE JUDGE THAT "PART OF OUR THEORY IN THE CASE IS THAT THE DEFENDANT WAS A POLICE OFFICER FOR 26 YEARS AND GOT AWAY WITH ALL KINDS OF THINGS." A RETIRED STATE TROOPER TESTIFIED ABOUT AN ODD TELEPHONE CONVERSATION, WHERE SAM TOLD HIM THERESA WAS MISSING… BUT THAT HE HAD NOT REPORTED HER AS MISSING.
ANOTHER OFFICER TESTIFIED THAT HE CAME TO VISIT THE POLICE SERGEANT AFTER HIS WIFE DISAPPEARED… AND SAID THAT "SAM ASKED ME TO PULL UP MY SHIRT" TO MAKE SURE THE MAN WAS NOT ‘WIRED FOR RECORDING’ THEIR CONVERSATION.
