Polls have closed across Chattooga County.  AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio spoke with Judge Jon Payne superentindent of elections who said that things went smoothly for the most part today.

Election workers are starting to count the 500 plus absentee ballots.  The first numbers we get should be the early voting totals.  Stay tuned to AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio or check back here on chattoogainfo.com.  The first numbers should start coming in about 30 minutes from now.
