The Chattooga County Commissioner’s office is currently compiling a list of properties in the county that might be available for displaced homeowners from the recent tornados and storms in Northwest Georgia and Northeast Alabama.

If you have vacant rental property or property that could be used, even for a short period of time, you can add that property to the list.  Chattooga County Commissioner Jason Winters told AM 1180 on Tuesday that there will be a real need for immediate housing for storm victims and some of those people would be willing to have housing in Chattooga County.
