Two people were booked into the Floyd County Jail on Saturday morning on charges they used a knife to rob three men.

According to Rome Police and jail records: Timothy Bernard Towns, 37, of 9 Lamar St., and Jessica Lauren Lyons, 24, of 1513 Burnett Ferry Road, were both charged with three counts of felony armed robbery, three counts of felony aggravated assault and three counts of felony theft by taking.

Additionally, Lyons was charged with felony prostitution.

Police say that Towns pulled a knife on three men at a Watters Avenue apartment building and he and Lyons forced the men into an apartment where they demanded money.

While being questioned by police Lyons told officers she had went to the apartment for the purpose of prostitution.
