Depending on which forecaster you choose to believe, we might see some rainfall in Chattooga County in the next 36-48 hours. The forecast from the Chattanooga Area is giving only a slight chance of a few showers over the next day or two, while Weather Channel forecasters here on AM 1180 Chattooga County Radio are saying we could see some showers Friday and Saturday from the remains of Hurricane Gustav.
Meanwhile Hurricane Hannah continues to churn in the Atlantic Ocean and forecasters are saying the brunt of the storms force will most likely be felt in the Carolinas. There is still the possibility that Hannah could impact the Georgia Coast. It’s not clear yet if Chattooga County will see any impact from Hurricane Hannah. Forecasters are watching Hurricanes Ike and Josephine still far out in the Atlantic Ocean.
