Redmond Regional Medical Center and the Heart of the Community are offering a Women’s Heart Seminar series titled What Women Want to educate women about their cardiac health. The series includes four seminars; the first focusing on general heart health, the second on oral contraceptives and hormone replacement, the third on Leg Pain from Arterial Disease and the fourth about pregnancy and the heart.
The first seminar will be held at Magretta Hall on February 18th from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served and Harbin Clinic cardio-thoracic surgeon Dr. James Young will speak about how heart disease specifically affects women and how to stay heart healthy. This event is sponsored through the funds raised through the 2009 Heart of the Community Walk.
